Could anyone really describe a cat that could be more beautiful than the Persian? With its’ long flowing coat and sweet pansy like face, the Persian is the most popular cat in the world.
The Persian is as well known for its temperament as for its beauty. They make wonderful family pets because they adapt so easily to their environment. They like to have their feet firmly planted and are not given to climbing and high places. They are curious and mischievous though and happy to jump onto the coffee table and pat everything they see onto the floor – cute!
Their quiet, melodious voices are non-demanding and their large expressive eyes make them irresistible. Persians are most at home in a serene and secure environment and so make ideal house cats. They are tremendously responsive but never overbearing and will become a constant source of joy and delight to you and your family.
The Persians long flowing coat and sweet natures demand that they should never be allowed to roam outdoors unaccompanied. Keeping the Persian indoors also keeps it safe from disease and parasites, as well as the dangers of theft and cruelty.
